On Thursday October 10, 2024, Peek & Cloppenburg, the international multi-brand retailer, celebrated the opening of its first store directly in Graz city center in the CITYPARK shopping center, which is managed on behalf of the owners by SES Spar European Shopping Centers. This represents a clear statement about the Austrian retail market: the large-scale fashion labels are expanding and are looking for good locations in vibrant shopping destinations. The SES malls in Austria are among the preferred sites. The top management of P&C, SES and CITYPARK formally opened the 15th P&C store in Austria by cutting the ribbon together.

With immediate effect the renowned fashion company will enhance the Graz shopping center with around 3,000 m² of retail space on the 1st floor of CITYPARK, thus expanding the diversity of brands in the shopping center in the long term. The formal opening of the 15th P&C in Austria and the first in Graz city center was attended by not only the P&C management team around Neofit Vasilev, Director Sales Management, and Hans-Peter Pichler, Regional Sales Manager, but also by Christoph Andexlinger, CEO of Spar European Shopping Centers, and the Center Manager Wolfgang Forstner.

Christoph Andexlinger, CEO SES Spar European Shopping Centers
“The most important criteria for retail premises are the location, the mix of shops and the quality of the customer visit. This opening substantially strengthens Graz city center and its physical retail stores. Alongside Salzburg, Innsbruck, Maribor and Wiener Neustadt, our partnership with Peek & Cloppenburg has now been further strengthened by this new site in CITYPARK in the heart of Graz.”

Strong brand diversity and high service level in the heart of Graz
The new store offers an exclusive shopping location which will attract fashion lovers from Graz and the surrounding area. Customers will find a carefully compiled selection of P&C exclusive brands such as Jake*s and Review, as well as international top brands like BOSS, HUGO, Polo Ralph Lauren, Marc O'Polo, JOOP! and Tommy Hilfiger. Whether it is for everyday wear or special occasions, at P&C everyone will find the perfect outfit. In addition, there is the option of a free personal shopping service for members of the P&C customer club “Insider”.
