LICHT INS DUNKEL has been helping children with disabilities and families at risk of poverty in Austria for more than 50 years. This year SES is supporting the unique fund-raising campaign by selling EUR 10 shopping vouchers (“ZEHNER” in German) in 13 SES centers in Austria. The ZEHNER is one of the most popular gifts bought in the SES malls, especially at Christmas. By buying the dedicated ZEHNER for LICHT INS DUNKEL, customers can do good and also contribute to the funding of numerous aid projects. When the campaign ends, SES will round up the amount donated and will hand this to the fund-raiser LICHT INS DUNKEL in December.

The ZEHNER is a model of success and is very popular, especially in the runup to Christmas: a current market survey commissioned by SES showed that when people were asked which gifts they would be putting under the Christmas tree this year, the most frequently selected gift category was gift vouchers. So it makes perfect sense to use the popularity of the ZEHNER to support LICHT INS DUNKEL.

Christoph Andexlinger, CEO SES Spar European Shopping Centers:
“Families who are living on the poverty line or caring for a disabled child are greatly affected not only by the huge daily challenges, but also the increased cost of living. We come from a family company – so the well-being of families has always been hugely important to us. And it is even better when by selling our ZEHNER vouchers successfully, we can make a contribution to supporting families in need. LICHT INS DUNKEL does a fantastic job, and we are proud of being able to contribute something to it together with our customers.”

How can you turn your ZEHNER into a donation? Easy!
Customers can buy their vouchers as usual at the ZEHNER sales points in the SES centers, and then simply post one or more of their ZEHNER into the donation boxes provided for this. One hundred percent of the amount collected this way will go towards the LICHT INS DUNKEL fund-raiser.

Collections in 13 SES malls and online
The ZEHNER for LICHT INS DUNKEL are available in the following SES shopping centers: ATRIO Villach, CITYPARK Graz, EUROPARK Salzburg, FISCHAPARK Wiener Neustadt, FORUM1 Salzburg, HUMA ELEVEN Vienna, MAX.CENTER Wels, MURPARK Graz, SILLPARK Innsbruck, VARENA Vöcklabruck, WEBERZEILE Ried, ZIMBAPARK Bürs and Q19 Vienna. ZEHNER can also be bought online via the centers’ websites, and then donated to LICHT INS DUNKEL either by using a QR code or by means of a direct transfer to the “Licht ins Dunkel 2024” donation account using the IBANAT14 3150 0961 0506 4811.
